Scholarship for the College of Europe

Based on the Memorandum of Understanding between the Lidija Topic Bouwen Foundation and the College of Europe, the Foundation offers annual scholarships to female citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. These scholarships are designed to support students wishing to study at one of the College of Europe’s three campuses: Bruges (Belgium), Natolin (Warsaw, Poland), and the newly established Tirana campus (Albania).

For the academic year 2025-2026, the total College fee is currently set at EUR 29,000.00 for programs in Bruges and EUR 27,000.00 for programs in Natolin/Warsaw and Tirana. These fees cover tuition, meals, and accommodation, as well as study trips that are part of the academic curriculum. The Lidija Topic Bouwen Foundation scholarship will cover the full cost of these fees, allowing the selected student to focus entirely on their studies without financial worry.

Eligibility and Contract

Selected scholarship recipients will sign a contract with the Lidija Topic Bouwen Foundation. In addition to funding the total College fees, this contract may also include provisions related to their future contributions to the foundation’s mission of fostering European integration through leadership and education.

Scholarship Availability

Starting with the academic year 2025-2026, the Lidija Topic Bouwen Foundation plans to offer one full scholarship per year to an outstanding student from Bosnia and Herzegovina who is admitted to the College of Europe. The number of scholarships available in subsequent years will depend on the Foundation’s annual budget.
